- Have you felt the need to Cut down on your drinking?
- Do you feel Annoyed by people complaining about your drinking?
- Do you ever feel Guilty about your drinking?
- Do you ever drink an Eye-opener in the morning to relive the shakes?
One point for each positive answer.
Scores of 2 or higher have a 93% sensitivity/76% specificity for the identification of “excessive drinking” and a 91% sensitivity/77% specificity for the identification of alcoholism.
